As an Integrative Therapist, Alison meets clients where they are at, empowering them with the courage to step into a therapeutic experience. Alison is warm and non-judgemental, allowing clients the space they need to grow at their own pace. She has the ability to know when and by how much, each individual is ready to be challenged to grow. She is humbled by the opportunity to be part of each client’s journey, and join them in the sacred space of vulnerability, fears, hopes, and hurts.
Alison has experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, premarital counseling, play therapy, EMDR, art therapy, and conflict resolution. She works with a wide range of clients in various stages of life. The combination of her education and work experience has prepared her to help clients with multiple issues, from individuals suffering with addiction to family conflicts in need of restoration. Alison understands that while relationship issues are best helped with the couple or whole family in the counseling room together, sometimes that is not possible. Her method of therapy can adapt to meet your specific needs, and Alison believes that immense progress can occur in families with the change of only one member. Regardless of who is in the session, Alison skillfully facilitates the relational system, gaining understanding while offering practical solutions that can offer true healing to romantic, familial, or peer relationships.
